One of the great benefits of being a successful business is that we’re afforded the opportunity to support organisations and causes we believe in.
In place of sending Christmas cards to our clients, it’s been our Christmas tradition in previous years to make a charitable donation. In the past we have donated cheques to Concern and Saves The Children — this year, we’ve decided to support Guide Dogs UK and Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Most of us know someone who is blind or visually impaired, and if you’ve ever seen that person with a guide dog, then you’ll know what a tremendous impact they can have on their owner’s life. Guide Dogs help give blind people throughout Ireland “independence and dignity” through their world class dog and ancillary services.
The organisation receives over 85% of its income through voluntary donations and fundraising, so it desperately needs every penny it can get. That’s where both Spiral Hosting and you, come in.
From today (Wednesday 5th December) until 30th December, we will donate 10% of income from new web hosting orders to Guide Dogs in the UK and Ireland.
